David McCormickJeff has been a professional musician and instructor for 20 years, performing with everything from symphony orchestras to nationally touring rock and country bands. He teaches guitar, bass, mandolin and ukulele.

Matt Brenna

Matt Brenna

Matt has a degree in music from Alaska Pacific University and performs regularly with his band, Big Fat Buddha. Like at least one other legendary rock guitarist, he’s also a banjo enthusiast and teaches both bluegrass and old-time styles.

Roger David

Roger David

Roger has a degree in music education from UAA and is a walking encyclopedia of pop music. He teaches violin, viola, cello, guitar and piano, but may love the ukulele most of all.

David, the owner of Alaska School of Music, teaches bass, mandolin, dulcimer, Irish tenor banjo, bouzouki and and almost all folk instruments except the 5-string banjo, to which he is strangely immune.
